Biography
Attorney Marcio Soares
Marcio Soares is the founder and managing attorney of The Soares Law Firm, PLLC. He earned his juris doctorate from the University of Massachusetts School of Law and an LLM, an advanced specialization degree, in Elder Law and Estate Planning from Western New England University School of Law. While attending law school, Marcio completed two Harvard Business School certificate programs. He previously earned a Master of Science degree in Public Administration from National University.
Marcio is a decorated veteran of the United States Army, earning several Army Commendation medals and Army Achievement medals. He earned the prestigious ranger and special forces tabs. He reached the rank of Sergeant First Class and deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. While in combat, Marcio was called upon to use his tactical and strategic expertise and lead in various combat missions.
A resident of Tyler, Texas, Marcio enjoys spending time with his wife Lucrecia and his four children, as well as reading, walking, and volunteering locally.
